— Product Description

Introduction

The Stellar Strata MK2 combines an exceptional analog preamplifier, state-of-the-art DAC, high-definition phono stage (MC/MM), and a 150 Wpc power amplifier into one beautiful, all-in-one component. Fully balanced analog circuitry, Analog Cell™ power amplification, and a no-compromise phono stage deliver a rich, full-bodied musical experience—perfect for anyone unwilling to sacrifice sound quality.

Design

The Strata MK2 was engineered around a simple mantra: “Just add speakers.” Four integrated systems—preamplifier, DAC, phono stage, and power amp—share optimized power supplies, chassis isolation, and signal paths to eliminate interconnection variables. A hand-crafted Analog GainCell™ handles volume control without degrading the signal, while the Analog Cell™ output stage uses Class A-biased MOSFETs for tube-like warmth and high linearity.

Application

By unifying four critical audio functions into one chassis, the Strata MK2 removes the need for multiple boxes and interconnects. Connect digital sources or a turntable, drop a needle on vinyl, or plug in a streamer—then drive speakers or headphones directly. The result is seamless integration, rock-solid synergy, and top-tier performance in any two-channel or home-theater setup.

Technology Overview

  • Analog GainCell™ Volume Control: Eliminates lossy volume-control elements by varying gain rather than inserting attenuators into the signal path.
  • Analog Cell™ Power Amplifier: Class A-biased MOSFET stage combines tube-like richness with flat, high-current output for effortless dynamics.
  • High-Definition Phono Stage: Fully balanced MC/MM circuitry with no corners cut—designed for maximum resolution, headroom, and low noise.
  • Digital Lens™ Reclocker & DAC: Precision reclocking of all digital inputs (USB, coax, optical, I²S) ensures ultra-low jitter and clean bit-perfect conversion.
  • Integrated Headphone Amplifier: Class A section capable of driving demanding headphones with the same fidelity as the speaker outputs.
