The Aspen FR30 is the flagship floor-standing speaker in PS Audio’s Aspen Series, delivering true full-range performance for large listening rooms. Design
Built around dual mid/tweeter and bass modules, the FR30 features:
- Upper Cabinet (Sealed): Houses two 2.5″ planar-magnetic tweeters and a 10″ planar-magnetic midrange, each driven by Teonex diaphragms for ultra-low distortion and rapid transient response.
- Lower Cabinet (Passive Radiator): Contains four 10″ side-firing passive radiators that extend deep bass without port noise or compression.
- Enclosure & Crossover: A precision-engineered, two-piece cabinet with an LR-4 crossover at 400 Hz and 2.5 kHz ensures seamless integration and phase-correct response.
Application
Designed for medium to large rooms, the FR30 performs as a reference-level speaker or as part of a high-end home-theater system. Its boundary-tolerant design and adjustable feet simplify setup near walls or corners. Pair with a robust amplifier (100–600 W) to unlock its full potential: effortless dynamics, rich midrange, and room-shaking bass that remain tight and controlled.
