Design

Built into a massive, low-resonance aluminum chassis, each channel of the S5 has its own custom-wound 2,200 VA toroidal transformer, enclosed to eliminate vibration and stray magnetic fields. A bank of 188,000 µF total capacitance supplies instantaneous current, while an array of high-current output transistors maintains perfect timing and rhythm under the heaviest loads.
