— Product Description

Introduction

The E-700 is a Class-A precision integrated amplifier that brings flagship-level performance into your listening room. Drawing on technologies from Accuphase’s 50th-anniversary model, it combines a fully balanced preamplifier section with a beefed-up four-fold parallel push-pull power amp—delivering rich dynamics, rock-steady control, and a level of musical expressiveness that reveals every nuance of your recordings.

Design

At the heart of the preamplifier is Accuphase’s Balanced AAVA (Accuphase Analog Vari-gain Amplifier) volume control, enhanced with ANCC (Accuphase Noise and Distortion Canceling Circuit) to minimize noise and distortion across all volume settings. The power amp stage uses four MOS-FET devices per channel, driven in pure Class-A and arranged in an instrumentation-amplifier configuration for ultra-linear output. A massive toroidal transformer and 56,000 µF of filter capacitance ensure rock-solid power delivery, while MOS-FET switches provide rapid protection against overloads or short circuits.

Application

Whether driving full-range floor-standers or compact monitors, the E-700 excels at rendering live-like dynamics and tonal accuracy. Use it as the centerpiece of a two-channel stereo rig—switching seamlessly between sources with the smooth-acting remote—or integrate it into a home-theater setup for powerhouse performance. Its high damping factor and low output impedance mean speakers respond with tight bass and articulate transients, even under the most demanding musical passages.

Technology Overview

  • ANCC I-V Conversion
A secondary, low-noise amplifier actively cancels distortion and noise from the main gain stage, improving clarity—especially at low volume levels.
  • Balanced AAVA Volume Control
Electronic resistor-ladder architecture creates precise, grit-free level steps without the wear and noise of mechanical pots.
  • Four-Fold Parallel Push-Pull MOS-FETs
Each channel’s Class-A output stage uses four matched MOS-FETs to deliver linear power with minimal distortion.
  • Instrumentation-Amplifier Topology
Ensures equal impedance on both signal paths, delivering exceptional common-mode noise rejection and stable damping.

Key Features
